Hi , A couple days ago I asked you all if you liked our idea of launching the BetterPhoto Ambassador program - where you will get a commission each time you turn a new customer on to BetterPhoto and they become a customer. Holy WOW - the response has been amazing. As of this moment, there are 163 comments on my blog. We want to make sure all of the major bugs are worked out before we go live. I'm so excited about what I see coming together. As my team is polishing the pieces and getting ready to unveil it for you, I wanted to address some of the questions you've been asking about the program: * How does the commission work? The BetterPhoto Ambassdor program offers a 10% commission rate for our Ambassador level member, and 15% for Platinum Ambassadors. To start, when a new visitor you refer purchases an online course, web site, gallery, etc, you will receive 10% of the sale. After you have referred a certain number of sales, you'll be promoted to Platinum and get 15% each time a new customer joins the fun at BetterPhoto. * Do I need a BetterPhoto Web site? No, and in fact you don't need a web site at all. You simply place banners or text links at your web site, blog or in emails and start sending your photography friends to BetterPhoto.com. * How will you know when I refer someone? I am a real stickler for accuracy and tracking so I understand this question. We have an awesome cookie-based tracking and payment system. * How do I set up an account? Setting up an account is very easy and it's completely FREE. You don't have to pay for becoming an Ambassador. We'll send out a link and instructions as soon as it's ready for prime time. * Do I have to pay to become an Ambassador? No, you don't have to pay any to become an Ambassador. * Do you offer support for Ambassadors? Yes, our Ambassador Manager, Celia Burkhart is at your service to answer your questions and help guide you. Hopefully those answers have given you a better idea of the BetterPhoto Ambassador program. Lastly, I want you to close your eyes (after reading this paragraph of course) and imagine what you're going to buy with the extra revenue you bring in, simply from sharing your love of BetterPhoto.
