Putting Painful Photos in the Past - Day 6

Hi

Stop being such a perfectionist! As you will learn from today's tip, trying to get a shot just right can be important, but don't forget to shoot, shoot, SHOOT!

© Julie Abston

Don't stop, keep shooting. For any given scene, take as many images as you can! Digital photography has freed us to keep shooting as many pictures as our memory card can hold and delete unwanted ones after the fact, for zero extra cost. Amateur photographers often think professional shooters take very few shots, and get each one just right. But here's the fact: Pros shoot a lot of images. So photograph even when you aren't positive about the outcome. There's great value in experimenting with light, composition, point of view, and subject.
