Putting Painful Photos in the Past - Day 4

Hi

Taking a safety shot is the focus for today. Don't let that perfect image get away!

Shoot a safety shot. When the beautiful light is fleeting or your subject is moving, it's a great idea to fire off a rapid insurance photo or two - just in case. Such a safety shot may not be quite perfect, but it is far preferable than an image that gets away. Then, if there's still time, you can settle down and make sure you have all the camera's bells and whistles, knobs and buttons set just right. Fine-tune the composition. Then be ready to start shooting again. The "safety" shot example here shows a perfectly calm and reflective fountain, prior to the fountains turning on and eliminating the beauty of the reflections for the rest of the day (2nd example)!

Thanks,
