Putting Painful Photos in the Past - Day 10

Hi

I live outside Seattle - one of the more beautiful areas of the country. Being near mountains and the ocean provides an endless supply of material for my photography. Some people don't feel that they have access to beauty. But I want to stress that you and your talents can find the beauty in the most mundane of places. Using the light at the end of day can add so much to your photos. Don't let yourself be limited by anything!

Shoot during the golden hours. One easy trick to taking better pictures is to simply photograph at certain hours. In late afternoon and early evening, the light is warm and beautiful. When the sun is close to the horizon, turn around and look at what the sun is illuminating. These can be great times to photograph friends, family, and other subjects, plus landscapes and cityscapes. Your photos will look truly magical in the golden light.

Thanks,
