Putting Painful Photos in the Past - Day 5

Hi

Have you ever opened up a photo you were so excited about, only to find out it wasn't in sharp focus?

Eliminate the blurs. Here are three ways to keep your pictures crystal clear:
- Press halfway and pause. Don't press the shutter button down in one motion. Instead, press halfway, confirm the focus, and then press the button all the way.

- Hold the camera steady. If you're using a DSLR, firmly grasp the handgrip of your camera with one hand and cradle the lens with the other.

- Make a "human tripod": Use your body as a tripod to steady your camera. Do this by stabilizing yourself against a wall or tree trunk, or by resting your elbows on a table or railing. Hold steady and breathe deep before shooting. Often, this will do the trick.
