Happy New Year!
I hope you enjoyed the holiday season, but now comes this big
overriding question: How did your holiday photos turn out?
If you're like most people, you're probably not thrilled with your
pictures. I understand your pain! In my travels around the globe,
and in my 15 years of leading BetterPhoto, I've heard from many
people who have returned home from a trip, or have reflected on
a holiday moment, only to find that their photos failed to match
their memories.
The main thing I see is this: Even though photographers may
feel like "lone wolves", they actually share a number of universal
issues. At the top of the list is this one: Photographers often have
a hard time capturing what they see and conveying the beauty
they experienced.
At BetterPhoto, we have conducted surveys to find just what
members want. They have not been shy about telling us. :) They
want to learn more about the basics of photography. They want
terms like ISO and White Balance put into plain language. And
they want a self-guided guide that helps them produce images
with "Wow" impact!
We've heard you, and it's my goal to help you become a better
photographer. I will coach you on ways to stop making mistakes
in your photography. So stay tuned, and get ready to put painful
photos in the past!
Thanks,
