Each month, the best Before and After will be featured in the Digital Darkroom.

To participate, upload a Before (original) picture then start a discussion on it (using the Discuss This Photo link under the picture). After telling us how you did created the effect, select "1" or "2" from the Upload Image pull-down menu, and submit an optional intermediate image and a final (After) photo. Very creative, John. I really like this composition. It took some studying to catch on. Very clever work and a wonderful application of Fractalius.

Response 1:Thanks Mark, I had forgotten about this shot. It actually only had one bottle to start with. I was practicing with clone tool and then got trial of the Fract filter. So I applied it here.

Response 2:Great presentation of yourself Aimee. I really like it. Did you take three different picture and then put them together? Very nice job, very well done.
- Rita K. Connell

Response 3:Thank you Rita! Yes I took three different images of myself. One of me holding the frame for the main photo then one of me holding the frame looking up and then one of just my head. It's not often I plan things out when taking pictures, but this time I did and I'm glad. Maybe I should try planning more often! Since I have been gone from the club I have so many images I want to share. I made reference that everyone could visit my gallery to see what I've been up to so many some will do that. :~)

An Ibis Night
I got my inspiration from Deborah Sandidge's fabulous Ibis images. I certainly had fun putting this together. I started with the ibis on an electrical wire, then used a deep purple & pink gradient, then added the moon and stars.
