THIS WEEK'S TIP Travel Advice for Photographers By Susan and Neil Silverman, BetterPhoto instructors Staying in a hotel? It is wise to unpack your camera bag and 'hide' or spread your gear around the room. For example, put a lens in a drawer, the body somewhere else, etc. If someone were to break into the room and your camera bag was sitting there full of your equipment, it would be so easy to grab. But if the gear is not all in one place, it is just a good precaution. Of course, you have to remember where you put everything!
