I've been getting so many questions I can't answer them all personally in time - and in case you were one of the people writing in, here's the answer to your question.
* When does " The Photographer's Guide to Better Photoshop" course start?
Right now.
In fact, it's already begun for many students, with Module 1 going live just a day or two ago. Each subsequent module will be uploaded about 5-7 days apart, so you have time to absorb the new techniques without feeling overwhelmed.
Bottom line, it's not too late for you to join.
* Will your course work for MY version of Photoshop CS... or Elements?
Short answer: Yes. Long answer: If you have the full version of Photoshop (CS6, CS5, CS4 or even earlier), that will work. What's more, I'm teaching tools that are also in Photoshop Elements. So if you have a recent version of Elements, you'll learn how to create the same awesome effects in Elements.
* How will this life-changing course be delivered? via video? Written stuff? Smoke signals?
Both (video and written material).
Mostly, I share my secrets, tips, easy-to-remember framework, and techniques through "show me how" videos. But we start with a written, illustrated guidebook on the basics - selecting, spot removal, resizing, etc.. And each video will be transcribed, so you can review with notes in front of you as you go.
Smoke signals cost extra :-)
* Do I have to do homework?
No. Unlike the interactive courses, " The Photographer's Guide to Better Photoshop" is entirely self-paced. You get optional assignments, but you don't HAVE to do anything. You get to learn how to make your photos POP, how to combine photos, and how to get to your optimal results in the least amount of time.... all entirely at your own pace.
* What if I'm busy and can't start right away?
No problem. You get access to all the materials for at least two years - more as long as the server doesn't get confiscated by the FBI for being "unlawfully awesome"!
* What exactly is the format of the class, Jim... videos and manuals that we take in at our own pace? Or are there specific class times?
There are no rigid times that you have to be online. You get to watch, read and learn whenever it's convenient for you. I'll be there in the private forum to answer your questions as they come up. See this video to learn more.
* What exactly am I getting again?
You get my revolutionary framework that makes it easy and actually fun to optimize photos. The course keeps things SIMPLE and has been developed specifically for PHOTOGRAPHERS. It's not comprehensive... yes, you heard that right. It's not my goal to make you a full-time Photoshop professional. I show you only what you NEED TO KNOW as a photographer, and share my secret techniques for getting awesome color, combining photos together, and creating naturally stunning results... in the shortest amount of time possible.
What's more, you get all this at 50% off. AND you get a discount coupon for $50 off your next 8-week interactive course. Plus you get my "Quick Tips Cheat Sheet", Inspirations and other eBooks, and several wonderful tutorials that help you capture get images in the first place.
Also, you get complete written transcriptions for all videos!
And I'm there to answer your questions as you gain your expertise in Photoshop.
It's called " The Photographer's Guide to Better Photoshop" because it will show YOU how to make better photos - images that look like those of a pro... in no time flat.
But time's running out. Doors close at midnight.
