Captured these magnificent falls with a Canon 17-40 f/4 lens in bulb mode( 6 secs.) Used tripod, cable release, and ND filter. These majestic falls are supposed to be the 2nd longest(605 feet) in the United States, next only to Yosemite. Multnomah Falls is on the Oregon side of the Columbia River Gorge.

Response 1:Thanks so much, Cindy! This was taken at Merrill Creek Reservoir, in NJ. Every year there are usually tens of thousands of snow geese that stop there during the winter. There's an eagle nest in the area, and when they all take off like this, an eagle probably spooked them.
