Welcome to the 675th issue of SnapShot!
Hello,

Coastal scenery is always special, but when you can combine history with scenery, then you have the makings of a very special image. That's why photographers enjoy shooting these awesome and nostalgic beacons of light. See BetterPhoto's wonderful gallery of lighthouse pictures... Note, too, that photographing lighthouse involves more than simply a good subject or scene. To create memorable images, rather than forgettable ones, light and composition must play key roles.

In this issue of SnapShot, don't miss the latest photo-tip offerings from two BetterPhoto instructors: Jim Zuckerman and Rob Sheppard.

That's it for this week. Have fun with your photography!

Instructor Jim Zuckerman shares his expert advice... Can't find grand landscapes to shoot? The answer may lie in more intimate, small-scale scenes. Check out instructor Rob Sheppard's excellent blog...
