Hi
Many BetterPhoto members are asking about how our recent turkey donation went.
I am deeply moved.
What a lovely expression of gratitude and generosity! With over 189 awesome people donated over 461 fivers toward a Thanksgiving surprise for families in need, this was a huge success. We collected and contributed over $2300.
Way to go, the BetterPhoto community!
And thanks from me personally too. This Saturday, my kids and I had the great joy of helping the Seattle Basket Brigade gather, organize, box up, and deliver bountiful gifts of food. Over 150 volunteers chipped in. It was an amazing logistical feat and I'm delighted that we were able to serve so many people in need.
Boxes of food, which were places in delivery vehicles along with turkeys

Turkeys, wrapped and ready for cooking:
I did not take pictures while delivering but these families were grateful and often overwhelmed. We were invited into a couple homes and shown family photos. Everyone was appreciative and expressed deep thanksgiving for the gift.
"Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude." —Ralph Waldo Emerson
Thank you from Team BetterPhoto, and have a truly blessed Thanksgiving (or Nov 22 if you live outside the U.S.)!
To all, I send you my deepest appreciation and warmest thanks.
With gratitude,
Jim Miotke
