New Photo Discussion 1: Old town
Sincerely, Chris - Christine R. Lobsinger See Christine's Basic BetterPholio™ Response 1:Thank you, Christine: I did something different with this picture. I used a polarizer, but I underexposed by 2 stops to get the clouds close to proper exposure and used a flash that at +2 EV to expose the front building. | |

New Photo Discussion 3: Is anybody in there?
- Carolyn Fletcher See Carolyn's Basic BetterPholio™ Visit PickYourShots.com - Carolyn's Deluxe BetterPholio™ Response 1:Cool effect. Good job, Donna. - Randy A. Myers See Randy 's Basic BetterPholio™ Response 2:Thanks, I really don't care for Photoshop and don't use it much but this is a multifaceted layered PS7 image. First, my girl posed behind this old window. I liked her pose and expression, and the composition, but it needed better light. I didn't like the colors so I created this. First, I used lucis art filter, then I hand-painted the face and hair in PS7 to give her a different look. I dodged and burned in areas too. After that, I layered on a design that I made from an old stock image and flattened it to give the illusion of a sound wave effect. I finalized it when I converted it to gray and liked the results. It's bizarre but I think that it's cool. Thanks for the comments! - Donna R.
