I had a awesome journey with Jim and Fundamentals. Ever so happy that I have entered for this course, and most definitely it won't be last. Thank you Jim for the opportunity to look at photographs through your eyes! Estee Coetsee-Williams
Self-Discovery in Photography: Where Does Your Passion Lie?
8-Week Photo Course
First assignment: Wednesday, September 07, 2011
Skill Level: 2 - Serious Hobbyist
Category: Composition Courses
This course was excellent. Jim Z was an excellent instructor. He challenged and encouraged us to delve into different types of photography, including things that were outside of our "comfort zone". He has me now looking at my photos in a different way. His constructive criticisms were spot on and professional. He gave a lot of great examples of how to improve on our submitted photos. He always answered my questions in a very timely manner. The content was wonderful and the experience was made even better through the great insight and feedback from Jim. I can't wait to take another one of his classes. Fred Barger.
Eight Steps to More Dramatic Photography
8-Week Photo Course
First assignment: Wednesday, September 07, 2011
Skill Level: 3 - Intermediate
Category: Composition Courses
Jim doesn't just instruct, he mentors. He doesn't just critique your submissions, he wants you to excel. Jim shows you that the world is a canvas and the camera is your paintbrush. With each class I take from him I am able to perceive the world through the viewfinder in a more artistic and dramatic way. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to expand on the fundamentals of compelling photography. James L. Jenkins Jr.
